Oxymeris dimidiatus mm 62 Terebra Seashell Sea Snail Gastropod Auger Shell Terebridae, unique piece, as in pictures.
N.B. The specimen has some fraying on the opening, which can be easily removed with sandpaper.
Family: Terebridae.
Common name: The Orange Auger.
Syn. Acus dimidiatus, Buccinum dimidiatum, Subula dimidiata, Terebra carnea, Terebra dimidiata, Terebra splendens, Vertagus dimidiatus.
