Marpesia corinna one wing lenght cm 2-2.3 Tropical Insect Brush-Footed or Four-Footed Butterfly Nymphalidae.

Marpesia corinna is a species of insect Lepidoptera of the family Nymphalidae, subfamily Limenitidinae, genus Marpesia.
It was described by William Chapman Hewitson in 1813 with the original name of Vanessa corinna.
It is a butterfly with a wingspan of 46-56 mm in males and 43-45 mm in females, with front wings with concave outer margins and hind wings with scalloped outer margins, each with a long, fine and pointed tail.
The upper part is brown, the front wings are excluded from the costal margin up to the inner corner of a wide golden yellow band, the hind wings have a large purple puddle field near the inner margin and a yellow submarginal band, with a line of brown signs.
The back is ocher with the same yellow band, white lines and a submarginal line of white gallons.
