Charaxes cedreatis one wing lenght cm 2.7-3.2 Insect Tropical Brush-Footed or Four-Footed Butterfly Nymphalid Nymphalidae.
Common name: The Green Demon Charaxes.
Syn. Charaxes etheocles.

Charaxes cedreatis is an african butterfly of the family Nymphalidae. The habitat consists of evergreen and riverine forests.
Adult males feed on otter scats, but are also attracted to other carnivore droppings, as well as moist sand. Adult females seem to prefer fermenting fruit and sap oozing from wounds in tree trunks and branches.
