Syn. Morpho (Grasseia) didius, Morpho (Grasseia) occidentalis, Morpho (Grasseia) godarti.

Morpho didius is a neotropical butterfly (ie the South American continent) belonging to the family Morphidae (by others considered Morphinae subfamily of Nymphalidae family).
Regarding the species concerned, some authors consider it to be a subspecies of Morpho menelaus.
