Swiftopecten swiftii mm 80 Seashell Bivalve Scallop Comb Clam Pectinid, only a specimen, as in photos.
Spectacular shell with two different colored valves, one white and one pink.
Traweled in about 50 mt. deep on mud and seaweed bottom, 09/2014.
Syn. Pecten swiftii.

It should be noted for all bivalves that the two valves may have been glued or remained closed due to the dried ligament and therefore the article is presented as a single piece. We are therefore not responsible for any damage caused to the product to try to separate the pieces.
