Origin : BoHai Sea (China)

Argopecten irradians mm 40-50 Seashell Bivalve Scallop Comb Clam Pectinid, both valves.
Polymorphic species: purple, orange, black, brown, and shades in between.
It is possible to specify the desired color in the order, in which case we will notify you if available.
Trawled in about 15 mt. depth on sand and mud bottom , October 2014.
Common name: Atlantic Bay Scallop.
Syn. Aequipecten irradians, Pecten circularis, Pecten concentricus, Pecten leucophaeus.

It should be noted for all bivalves that the two valves may have been glued or remained closed due to the dried ligament and therefore the article is presented as a single piece. We are therefore not responsible for any damage caused to the product to try to separate the pieces.
