Feathers Bird Reeves's Pheasant 2 Pieces Syrmaticus reevesii cm 7-11 Cocks Roosters Hens Birds Aves Galliformes Phasianidae.
Family: Phasianidae.
Common name:  Reeves's Pheasant.

The Reeves's Pheasant (Syrmaticus reevesii, J. E. Gray, 1829) is a bird of the Phasianidae family.
The male measures up to 220 cm in length, most of which belongs to the tail. It has a wingspan of up to 90 cm.
The species is known above all for the fact that the males hold the record for the length of the tail, which in some cases can exceed 2 metres. Furthermore, the contrasts between the white, golden yellow, fawn-reddish and black of the livery are wonderful.
The Reeves's pheasant is a very territorial species. It generally lives in groups of up to 13 individuals.
The Reeves's pheasant is native to the central and eastern regions of China, but has been successfully introduced to the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Austria, England and the United States, including Hawaii. It is preferably encountered between 200 and 1000 m (but sometimes up to 2000), in mixed or coniferous forests with a lush undergrowth, as well as in open forests and on the edges of temperate and subtropical forests.
