Common name: Awl Grain or Awl- Rat-Nose.
Syn: Aelia annulipes, Cimex acuminata.


Aelia acuminata is a species of awl grain insect of the Pentatomidae family. It has been described by the Swedish naturalist Carl Linnaeus in 1758 under the original name (protonym) of Cimex acuminata.
