Papilio isidorus isidorus one wing lenght cm 4.5-5 Insect Tropical Butterfly Papilionidae Swallowtail.
Syn. Heraclides isidorus, Papilio rhodostictus, Heraclides rhodostictus, Papilio ceus.


Papilio isidorus (Doubleday, 1846) is a butterfly of the family Papilionidae (swallowtails). It is found in Central and South America.
The wingspan is about 80 mm. The larvae feed on Citrus and Zanthoxylum species.
A very similar species with which it can be confused is Papilio anchisiades, but lacks the digits in the lower wings.
