Why we do not understand the UniverseToo many times I felt fine scientists and eminent physicists say with regret that there are concepts that can not (or even can not) quite understand, as a singularity, blacks holes, the Big Bang, inflation, quantum and so on. I remember in particular a theoretical physicist who claimed that the word singularity was just a fancy way to define something that we have not the slightest idea what it is. Not to mention Albert Einstein, who was convinced that the blacks holes could not exist because Nature would never allow such a monstrosity in our world (because such a "monstrosity" would have affected the validity of his theory of general relativity).
