Amber is emitted by conifers in the form of resin, then it will eventually fossilize, solidifying. Currently collects commonly in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, Denmark, Germany and Sweden. The amber fossil was also found in the sediments of the Carboniferous geological period prior to the appearance of angiosperms. Amber has the property of electrified by friction.
