Goods insurance
Remembering that an insured shipment is provided (only on request) (see Shipping / Parcel Assurance at the bottom of the homepage), please note that "L’Arca di Noè" is not liable for any type of damage or loss caused by third parties (postman, SDA, porter, neighbors who collect your package, etc.) to the goods sent, nor are any claims for uninsured packages accepted in this regard, without prejudice to the obvious accuracy in preparing the packaging, free of charge, adapted to the content of the packages sent.
In the event that your package has been insured, any request for reimbursement of demonstrable damages caused by Poste Italiane will be reported to them by us so that they can open a case, but any financial reimbursement will take place within the times established by them, and therefore by ours will not be anticipated any amount for any reason.
We strongly recommend, when collecting the insured package from the hands of the postman or courier, to do so by forcing the latter to note "taken over with reserve", contesting any dents or noises that are heard shaking it, so that he cannot refuse or contest it. In this way, when you open the package, if unfortunately the damages are real, by opening a file to ask for a refund, Poste Italiane will be prevented from responding in the usual way that we report below, a formula they adopted very incorrectly to deny any kind. reimbursement for damages not contested at the time of collection or in any case not visible and not demonstrable. In fact, this is what they write when requesting a refund for a package collected without anything having been recorded upon delivery:
"Following our checks, the package was found to be intact. We remind you that any anomaly must be reported to the employee at the same time as delivery. In the absence of any findings, the conditions for compensation against you do not exist.
In the case in question, as no irregularities have been detected in the package delivery operations, the refund procedure requested cannot be defined, as indicated in the General Contract Conditions, the extract of which is shown on the back of the acceptance form, and which are available in full on the website www.poste.it and at all post offices ".
Please note that the seller is free from the obligation to deliver the goods with delivery to the carrier, therefore he is in no way responsible for any damage and / or loss caused by the same to the object of the sale that travels at the exclusive risk of the buyer. (Article 1510 of the Civil Code).

Finally, we would like to point out that, given the extreme delicacy of the arthropods placed in place, for which the integrity of the delivery is not guaranteed in any way due to the possible and inevitable abrupt handling due to transport, we have not carried out this type of service, i.e. the laying of insects in bulletin boards or frames. In order to prevent unpleasant non-refundable consequences, as an alternative to the problem we therefore provide you free of charge (see "Articles and Columns") a short guide (only italian language) to entomological preparations on the main techniques for learning to prepare yourself the insects that we provide you unprepared (like any other site of entomological material for collectors).
Refund for missing items
If, due to some forgetfulness or error in the preparation of the packages, one or more items are missing at the delivery of the goods, having verified the above, we will make the corresponding reimbursement by bank transfer to the coordinates that will be provided to us.
Attention: We do not absolutely send omitted items at our expense, except if the customer intends to bear the costs of a new shipment (€ 9.00) or has planned to make a new purchase within a reasonable time, in which case, if the item is still available and not yet refunded, it will be sent together with the rest of the goods.
