Origin : South China Sea (Sabya, Hainan)


Cardium coronatum mm 40-41 Seashell Bivalve Clam Thistle True Cockle, both valves, trawled in 11/2014 at 10-20 mt. deep on mud bottom.
Common name: Crowned Heart Cockle.
Syn. Cardium fimbriatum, Vepricardium coronatum.

It should be noted for all bivalves that the two valves may have been glued or remained closed due to the dried ligament and therefore the article is presented as a single piece. We are therefore not responsible for any damage caused to the product to try to separate the pieces.
