Obsidian is lava solidified, glassy-looking and very shiny. And 'the stone used by the Mayans and Aztecs to manufacture mirrors, sunscreens, small statues, amulets, objects used for worship as the sacrificial knives of the great priests. In America there are in the form of pebbles and are called "tears of the Apache" because according to legend, born from the blood of the first tribal leader killed by whites. Already during the Stone Age obsidian was used to produce bells that were used for rituals. In ancient times it was believed that it would be able to cast out demons in the Middle Ages it was used in magic rituals.
