Golofa aegeon ssp. cm 3.1-3.7 Tropical Insect Coleopter  Scarab Rhinoceros Beetle.

Golofa is a genus of rhinoceros beetles. The name Golofa does not derive from the Latin (where in fact the f would have been ph) but is the indigenous name used for these beetles in Venezuela, and was adopted as a genus name when it was originally described in 1837.
