The majority of our spiders are tarantulas. Should you ever think that tarantulas, when menaced, before to use their weapons, improvise a strange strip-tease? In practice they rub the last pair of their legs against the body coming off the hairs and flinging them at the enemy. These hairs are irritant also for a man, and sometimes they cause the poisoning of the blood. If the menace is real, the nice tarantula (it measures even more than 30 cm!) starts an attack: its bite is poisonous, seldom mortal for a man. Yes, as regards the spiders we often exaggerate, in reality they are very intelligent and attack only if menaced (or to get themselves the food, and we aren't in their diet). Now are they just a little bit more likeable?
